Practical limits worth knowing before you buy
Microsoft Publisher is not part of the Office 2024 generation, so layout work previously done there has to move to Word or PowerPoint. As one-time-purchase software, the suite does not include online services such as Exchange Online or SharePoint Online, and the 2024 versions receive security and quality updates but no new features. Organisation-wide functions in Project Professional, such as timesheets and enterprise resource pools, require a separate Project Server or Project Online environment.
